Why choose ILS?
Manual handling is about much more than knowing how to lift something safely. Our training helps staff understand the risks behind the task, how to assess them and how to make safer choices in their everyday work.
We focus on practical techniques that help prevent avoidable injuries while protecting the safety of staff and the people they work alongside.
The course covers the Manual Handling Operations Regulations 1992, HSE good practice and relevant workplace safety principles.
Can this course be tailored?
Yes. We can tailor the training around your organisation, workplace environment and the types of objects and equipment your staff regularly handle.
This could include your own risk assessments, manual handling procedures, equipment, workplace layouts and real-life scenarios, making the training immediately relevant to your team.
