Why choose ILS?

Moving and positioning people safely is about more than simply following a set of techniques. Our training helps staff understand why safe moving and positioning matters, while supporting the person’s dignity, choice and independence.

The course combines essential theory with practical demonstrations and focuses on safe, current approaches, including highlighting unsafe or outdated moving techniques that should be avoided.

Can this course be tailored?

Yes. The course can be tailored around your organisation, the people you support and the moving and positioning equipment used within your service.

We can incorporate relevant risk assessments, policies, procedures and practical examples to make the training directly applicable to your staff and workplace.
