Why choose ILS?

Person-centred care is about seeing the person, not just the care plan.

Our training helps staff understand how to turn person-centred principles into everyday practice, from involving people in decisions and respecting their choices to adapting support as their needs and preferences change.

The course is mapped to Care Certificate Standard 5, NICE guidance on person-centred care and the Care Act 2014.

Can this course be tailored?

Yes. We can tailor the course around your organisation, the people you support and your existing care planning processes. This can include your own care plans, person-centred planning tools, risk assessments, policies and real-life scenarios to make the learning directly relevant to your team.
