Why choose ILS?
At Inspired Learning Solutions, we believe health and care training should help staff understand the person, not simply the condition. Our Diabetes Awareness training gives learners a practical introduction to diabetes and helps them understand how they can support people to manage their condition, recognise potential problems and remain involved in their own care. The course has been developed and mapped to current occupational standards, qualification frameworks and NICE guidance on diabetes in adults.
Can this course be tailored?
Yes. The course can be adapted to reflect your organisation, care setting and the people you support. Examples and scenarios can be tailored to situations your staff are likely to encounter, helping learners connect their understanding of diabetes with their day-to-day role. This can include focusing on recognising changes in blood glucose levels, supporting people with their individual care routines and encouraging greater involvement in managing their own condition.
